CMD-TRICKS    

                                             

                                               Hola....dudes ,this post is about the tricks in  cmd most of the people dont known power of cmd .The cmd is known as Command Prompt that interact with user by command-line interface.In Windows it is implemented through Win32 console.

To open Cmd:

             i.  Open the cmd by pressing ⊞ Win +R

   

                   Type the cmd in the box then it show up cmd 

       ii.By typing cmd in search box you can also open the cmd

Tricks:

1.Hide the file:

   

                                         The hiding of file in cmd is more effective  and powerful then the normal hiding because normally if you click unhidden in control panel then the file will shown ,but its not work in cmd the file will appear only when the command typed for unhide.

To hide the file

                        

                     attrib +s +h +r "path of file to hide"  

To unhide the file

                      attrib -s -h -r "path of file to unhide"

2.StarWar Movie:

                               Make your pc as an tv watch starwar movie by type the following in cmd.

  step1:

               Type telnet in cmd

          

 step2:

           Open by type o

                  

        step4:

                            

                             Type the Address towel.blinkenlights.nl

                               

                       

step5:

           That's it movie start playing

                 

3.Remove Shortcut Virus:

                                Most of systems are suffer from the shorcut virus,this virus occurs due to the pendrive .This kind of virus slowly affect the computer and i have an solution to remove it.

                  

cmd to kill:

                      attrib -h -r -s /s /d e:\*.*(e is the driver it may d,f)

4.Shutdown:

                         The shutdown of computer can be done through cmd and we can specify time for shutdown.

              Cmd:  shutdown -s -t <time in second>

         ex:  shutdown -s -t 180

                     

                            And also we can do restart by the following cmd.

               Cmd:   shutdown -r -t <time in second>

5.Drive hiding:

                       The drive is possible for hide,just you need to follow my step.

                           

                i) Open the cmd and type Diskpart a new screen will open,if any notification appear press yes

               ii)Type list volume then the number of volume are shown like 1,2,3...each value number assigned with letter like a,b,c...

                iv)Select any volume and type the command select volume4(here i selected volume 4 to hide).

                 v)Finally type remove letter f(i selected volume 4 its corresponding letter is f)the file get hide.

                  vi)To unhide driver then type assign letter f ,the drive is visible.

6.ipconfig:

                   The command ipconfig is used to known the ip address of the user and is used to get the network details.

          

7.Display message before shutdown:

                                                                                     We can display an message by type the following code

           Cmd: shutdown -s -t 180 -c "your text"

                              

8.IP of website:

                          The work of the DNS is used to map domain name to ip address, such ip can be found by the command.

   Cmd:

          nslookup <website want to know>

      ex:nslookup google.com
